  • Power Savings Project - DNR

    -

    A project to reduce Green House gass emissions at the Department by utilizing greener, more efficient equipment, by the IT division. This included Virtualization Technology, different network equipment from a different vendor, and Data Storage replacements. The majority of this project was funded by a grant that I was able to obtain from Puget Sound Energy.

    The Department's efforts in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic drew attention for the innovative use of an application portal and a download portal to make it easier for ECUA staff to work remotely.

  • Technology Achievement Award for Innovative use of Technology to serve the Public

    FLGISA

    The IT Department assisted in creating an information portal to assist our customers when calling ECUA for services. This portal visualizes the call center queue and shows when Customer Service representatives are available to take a call. Additionally the IT Department created multiple interactive maps on the ECUA website to assist customers in getting answers to questions they would normally call ECUA for.
