Harry Kargman shared thisOne of the most exciting things about launching Karlo is seeing brands use the platform for activating TV campaigns and growing their business out of non-CTV assets. Ad Age covered how GORGIE is taking its social-first approach and extending that into Connected Television, using Karlo, our agentic AI platform, which transforms their TikTok and Instagram assets and makes them TV ready. We make them GORG..ous :). They are expanding to new audiences and placements to find new customers; and Karlo helps with planning, audience exploration, inventory selection, creative adaptation, and performance analysis, all using plain language prompts and a simple user interface. Michelle Cordeiro Grant and her team have done a great job building a brand that knows how to capture attention. We’re so excited to partner with them as they explore what’s possible on the bigger screen. Thanks Garett Sloane and the Ad Age team for the story. Harry Kargman reposted thisHarry Kargman reposted thisOf everything The Hershey Company has ever run, its Olympics campaign delivered the highest ROI. Under their Chief Growth Officer Stacy Taffet, the brand launched its first major creative campaign in eight years, timed to the Milano Cortina Winter Games. At our Marketing Leadership #BISummit, hosted by Paramount Advertising in New York City during Advertising Week, she joined Kargo's Harry Kargman on our stage in front of a crowd of hundreds of fellow marketers to make the case for keeping a legacy brand relevant every day. For Stacy, that requires remaining loyal to the brand promise, opting to reinvent the ways it reaches people instead. That thinking shaped Hershey's Milano Cortina campaign, which centered Team USA athletes' families and handed fans gold-wrapped chocolate medals to launch its new Happy Place platform. No campaign in the brand's history has delivered a better return. ✨ Watch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/g4h6WeZZ #AdvertisingWeek #NYC #Olympics #SportsMarketing #BrandStorytelling

Harry Kargman reposted thisHarry Kargman reposted thisMoving fast is useful. But knowing when to move is even more important. Harry Kargman spent years refusing to take Kargo into CTV, even as marketers told him that was where the eyeballs were going. But he didn’t make the move until there was a trigger: when Netflix started selling ads, the market had changed. That’s when Kargo moved. In this episode of The Speed of Culture Podcast, Matt Britton speaks with Harry, Founder and CEO of Kargo, about what 23 years in adtech has taught him about spotting real market shifts before they become obvious. The conversation covers contextual targeting in a privacy-conscious market, taking proven creator content from social into CTV, building a company culture that expects pivots, and Kargo’s newest bet: Karlo, an AI-powered platform designed to make sophisticated media buying easier for more brands. 🎧 Listen to the full interview: Apple: https://lnkd.in/gDQ6ChZH Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gigCD4aF #SpeedOfCulture #Kargo #AdTech #MarketingStrategy #AIMarketing ADWEEK

Harry Kargman shared thisLive today - Check out the latest from The Speed of Culture Podcast. I recently sat down with Matt Britton to record the current episode exploring entrepreneurship, the ups and downs, and building Kargo over the past 23 years. It is hard to keep grinding in an industry that never stops and is insatiable for innovation. What keeps me going is a passion to do new things and remain curious, and maybe I just love the feeling of competing. One thing I’ve learned is that knowing when to make a move can be just as important as knowing when not to react and stay the course. We’ve had to evolve, adapt, and recognize when timing aligns with making new investments or pivot the business. In the episode, we discuss the evolution of CTV, the value of context and creative in driving performance, and how AI is opening up new opportunities for media buying. We also talked about our latest developments with Karlo and making agent driven media buying more accessible to brands of all sizes. Thanks to Matt for the great conversation and looking forward to hearing feedback from my friends! Harry Kargman shared thisThat's a wrap on an incredible Advertising Week! I started the week talking with Stacy Taffet from The Hershey Company about storytelling and what it takes to keep iconic brands relevant at the Brand Innovators Summit. The best brands know what makes them special, but they’re never standing still. They keep finding new ways to connect with people, finding new placements and new surfaces, using creative as the canvas and AI as the multiplier. These themes resurfaced throughout the week. Coming off our Karlo announcement, I had some great conversations with CMOs, media buyers, and partners across different events about where things are headed: • Agentic media buying and orchestration to uplevel teams and reduce drag • The importance of premium context across video and CTV - why attention matters • And creative being the biggest opportunity for driving incremental performance Tuesday night was a great opportunity to pause to catch up with friends at the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF) Honors Night, celebrating the people and companies moving our business forward and supporting the next generation of marketing talent. Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees: Michael Kassan, William White, Gail Horwood, Mark Marshall, George Manas and Bob Liodice. Was fantastic seeing everyone there. I wrapped up the week at the Project Healthy Minds Gala, supporting an important conversation around mental health. Congratulations to this year’s honorees Bill Lawrence and Chris Barbin. And it was great to catch up with Mark Kirkham, Dan Hoffmann, Phillip Schermer, Luke Lambert, Kelly Rideout, Dave Rubinsky, Tammy Henault, Carina Ertl, Melissa (Grady) Dias and everyone at the Kargo table. It’s an exciting time in the industry. With Karlo, we’re pushing into what comes next. There’s a lot changing and we’re just getting started. #AdvertisingWeek #AWNY #BrandStorytelling #AdTech #CTV #AI

Harry Kargman shared thisLive from Advertising Week - I joined Stacy Taffet, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer at The Hershey Company, on stage for a discussion on storytelling, legacy, and modernizing iconic brands at Brand Innovators. A few themes stood out from our conversation: 1. Legacy is a powerful foundation for brands, but it has to evolve with culture to stay relevant and the marketers job is to preserve the heritage while making the brand new and interesting. 2. Storytelling is the method to connect a heritage brand’s iconic images with modern examples - the Katseye collab and Olympic bespoke creative storytelling are ways to make that happen. 3. Modernization is not about changing what makes a brand iconic. It is about finding new ways to share what makes the brand unique by using current moments like world sporting events and pop culture phenomena to transform the brand into something that has relevance today. The Olympics creative had incredible ROI because it brought the Hershey's Iconic imagery and America's love of sporting nostalgia and sentimental moments together. Kargo is thrilled to be a close Hershey partner, working with the Publicis Groupe and Amy Ginsberg & Amy Worcester Lanzi to bring the brand to life. We are excited to continue building joint capabilities to deliver the right stories in the right places. Media and creativity, thought through and executed well, is the foundation of this practice. Thank you to Stacy and Brand Innovators team for a great discussion. Also great to catch up with Benoit Vatere from Liquid Death -- a Kargo office fridge staple. #AWNY #BrandStorytelling #Innovation #Kargo #BISummit

Harry Kargman shared thisKarlo launched last night! Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Kargo Karnival to celebrate the launch of Kargo's agentic media buying platform. The celebration kicked off the next chapter for agentic media activation and I am so proud of the team. For 20+ years, we've built relationships with our publishers and partners to power the world's biggest brands across digital screens big and small. With Karlo, we're putting that same power in the hands of businesses of any size, no media expertise required. With Karlo, we meet advertisers where they are and the agents bring the needed expertise to help achieve both brand and performance goals. One of the highlights of the night was having our trusted partners and friends join us on stage for a live demo. A huge thank you to Ashley Schapiro from American Eagle Outfitters Inc., Michelle Cordeiro Grant from GORGIE and Jazmine Gonzalez from Sulwhasoo (AMOREPACIFIC) as well as our Kargo product leads Natasha Desai and Casey Gordon. We demonstrated the power of the platform live - launching 3 campaigns in 10 minutes. Amazing to see these brands build targeting goals and approve creative on the spot and they looked so good! Huge thanks to Mike Solomonov and the LASER WOLF team for the incredible bites, and to Diplo for keeping the dance floor packed all night. The party may be over, but this is DAY ZERO and the fun is just getting started... #Karlo #Kargo #AgenticAI #AdTech #MediaBuying

Harry Kargman shared thisLast night, I attended a small dinner hosted by former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg and Diana Taylor at The Frick Collection during the United Nations General Assembly week. In the first 5 min I had the following take-aways: 1. The room is filled with super interesting people discussing much bigger questions. 2. Somewhat puzzled why I was on the invite list, but I would go again if invited back; and Mayor Bloomberg knew my name. 3. The Frick at night is magical, and if you visit NYC - you have to go. But by the end of the night, both Jill and I were asking a much more important question: How can we do more and make a real difference? How can we work on bigger problems? As the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions, Mayor Bloomberg brought together leaders across business, design, technology, and climate to confront the challenges ahead. I loved meeting my dinner partners Kevin Sheekey from Bloomberg, Simon Stiell the United Nations Secretary for Climate Change , St-architect Bjarke Ingels, Reid Hoffman founder of LinkedIn, Stephane de La Faverie CEO of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., and many more and reminded me why I love living in NYC. I left thinking deeply about what faces us and how much of what gets worked on is based upon who is in office and public sentiment. Public opinion shapes the effort and resources for the most vital questions facing us as humans. Kargo as a marketing platform can be used to drive changes in office, policy, and effect real outcomes - something to think about as we continue to launch new surfaces. Furthermore, I am proud that we have done the heavy lifting to understand our corporate impact, set credible targets, and follow through on leading our industry to do better: Kargo’s commitments: https://lnkd.in/gyHRGa5t We have set the targets in the Emissions Reduction Program, verified by the Science Based Targets initiative - SBTi. It’s a milestone we’re proud of, and a commitment we will deliver on making us unique among our industry peers. Thank you to Bloomberg Philanthropies and Katie Shopkorn Finkelstein for bringing us together and giving us more to think about and act on.

Harry Kargman liked thisHarry Kargman liked thisI went out on an official Market Visit for the first time in my new role. I'm no stranger to store checks (and have dragged friends and family to stores in every state we visit and many other countries too.) But this time it was different. Past store checks have included taking many pictures for inspiration and reference, but at The Boston Beer Company we get hands on. In every store we visited we: ➡️ Rebuilt displays and cleaned up shelves ➡️ Introduced ourselves to and chatted with the manager (or bar tender) ➡️ Asked store associates what was selling (and if they've tried our products, what they thought) This category is so different from Beauty and Tech because our product goes through distributors and retailers before reaching consumers so with extra touch points, there's more opportunity to get even higher touch. And with a world class sales team, no detail is too small so we'll get in there and fix it. Christian Bustos, thanks for being my guide, and let's go make our products even better at that critical decision point!

Harry Kargman liked thisHarry Kargman liked thisOn the 14th anniversary of the deaths of Lulu and Leo, here's a (very) personal story about the magical energy they still bring to our lives. As amazing and inspiring as this story is, the experience itself was even more magical. What Marina doesn't mention is that I was sobbing as I recited these lines from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry not so far from where he was stranded in the Sahara: “All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems...But all these stars are silent. You - You alone will have stars as no one else has them...In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night...You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me... You will always be my friend.” https://lnkd.in/ekVUgw9j

Harry Kargman liked thisHarry Kargman liked thisReally enjoyed this conversation with Campaign UK, reflecting on what it means to shape the marketing agenda at a moment of extraordinary change. I believe that the moment we are in offers huge opportunity. While the fundamentals of building great brands endure, our ability to create relevance, spark participation and drive growth has never been greater. We're seeing first-hand that the brands creating the greatest impact today are those that participate in culture, collaborate with creators and use technology to build more meaningful connections with people. Campaigns like Vaseline Verified, Dove R/eal Reviews and Cif Clean My Name show what's possible when brands build with communities. I'm honoured to be included in this year's Campaign Power 100. More importantly, it's a moment to recognise and congratulate the incredible people behind the work. A huge thank you to our teams across Unilever, our marketers, partners, creators, and communities who make this work possible. This recognition belongs to all of you. The most meaningful progress happens when many different people come together around a shared ambition, and I'm grateful to be part of that journey. Gemma Charles Antonia Garrett Peel

Harry Kargman liked thisWhat a session! So great to see Ryu and Vinny riff together. Two industry leaders who understand End to End marketing and media dynamics and how to build performant teams.Harry Kargman liked thisToday, growth is rarely the product of one capability working well — it’s the product of several connections amongst them. At our Growth at the Speed of Culture #BISummit, hosted by Unilever in Hoboken, Unilever's own Ryu Yokoi and The Trade Desk's Vinny Rinaldi mapped the full journey from consumer insight through AI-enabled decision-making to cultural relevance and partnership activation, framing how each piece reinforces the others rather than running in its own lane. Snap Inc.’s Mary Ann Belliveau led them through it. Ryu brought the view from inside a global marketing organization and Vinny the view from the platform side, which is a useful pairing on a topic of which most teams only ever see one layer. It was a deliberate setup for the rest of the day, laying insight, AI, culture and partnerships out together before each one gets taken apart on its own. 📢 Follow us on Instagram to stay in the loop & get live event updates! 📸: https://lnkd.in/gMtBFhTE

Harry Kargman liked thisHarry Kargman liked thisSome fan mail deserves a little extra attention. Especially when it comes with a hand-drawn logo and a product brief. Brock, a fifth grader, sent us this card, complete with a Dr Pepper history lesson, a flavor suggestion and an enthusiastic assessment: “Dr Pepper is the BEST!” Clear feedback. Strong brand conviction. Excellent use of capital letters. What struck me most was the effort and care behind it. Brock researched our history, drew the logo and took the time to put his ideas on paper. There’s curiosity, creativity and a lot of heart in this card. That's a pretty special connection to have earned. What we’re celebrating here is Brock’s thoughtfulness and the affection behind his work. You don’t have to drink a brand to love what it stands for, appreciate its personality, its history or what it means to people. Sometimes that connection shows up in a drawing, a story or an idea someone wants to share. Notes like this remind me how much care people put into the things they love. Getting to acknowledge that care is one of the most meaningful parts of this job. Brock, thank you for sharing your imagination with us. Your creativity, and your very persuasive use of capital letters, made us smile.

Harry Kargman liked thisHarry Kargman liked thisWeek one at The Boston Beer Company was off to a great start. With every new role comes orientation and lots of learning. I was fortunate to do some of that directly where the magic happens: at one of our breweries. As a marketer, I've always loved visiting our production facilities for a few reasons: 1️⃣ I have a deep appreciation for how products are made. The engineering that goes into building the machines and optimizing production is very different from how my brain works so it feels just as much like art as science. Plus, if I'm driving demand, I'm sure glad someone's making it! 2️⃣ Decisions my team makes adds complexity. When teams understand each other's roles better, we all make sure it's the right complexity to drive the business. 3️⃣ We make beer! 🍺 It's one of the oldest known fermented beverages in the world. Coming from Tech, which is so innovation driven, but modern, it's amazing to see innovation in a +10,000 year old category. Cheers 🍻 to all the partners and teams who get products out into the world!

AI is changing more than media buying - it's transforming the way we think about creative. 💡 At Digital Tech & Planning Day, Rhea Rizk Sauma , Senior Product Marketing Manager at Kargo , explored why creative strategy is becoming more important than ever in an AI-powered world. One of the biggest takeaways? As consumer attention continues to fragment across more platforms and environments, a one-size-fits-all creative approach simply doesn't work. The future belongs to marketers who create tailored experiences that resonate wherever their audience is. A big thank you to Rhea for sharing her expertise and to our sponsor, Kargo, for powering this insightful session at DTPD 2026. #LVIMA #DTPD #DigitalTechPlanningDay #AIinMarketing #CreativeStrategy #LasVegasMarketing #MarketingCommunity

How do you know when a market shift is real enough to change the business around it? For Harry Kargman, in the CTV context, it was clear: when Netflix introduced advertising, Kargo would enter the category. On this week’s The Speed of Culture Podcast, the Founder and CEO of Kargo joins Matt Britton to discuss how the company has spent 23 years navigating major changes in advertising. Harry gets into contextual targeting after privacy changes, bringing proven creator content into CTV, and why successful pivots depend on building an organization that expects change rather than fears it. He also introduces Karlo, Kargo’s new AI-powered media buying platform built to make sophisticated cross-channel advertising more accessible. 🎧 Listen to the full episode: Apple: https://adweek.it/47U8z7U Spotify: https://adweek.it/4zD91TT

Excited to share that Kargo made it onto the AI LUMAscape, but what’s even more exciting is why. Our focus on AI applications is not just on bid optimization or workflows - in my view, we’re using it to unlock something far more powerful: creative intelligence. From format scoring to trend surfacing to real-time creative insights, we’re helping advertisers understand what’s actually driving impact in their creative, and where there’s room to push further. We’re seeing this transform creative from a bit of a black box to something that is more measurable, refinable, and just as smart as the rest of your strategy! Creative is the heartbeat of great advertising and with AI, we’re making it even stronger. #AdTech #CreativeScience #AI #Programmatic

You know what’s getting harder every day? Getting people to actually pay attention to your ads. In a landscape dominated by ad-blockers, skip buttons, and privacy shifts, simply buying ad space isn't enough anymore. Reaching consumers is only half the battle - you have to inspire them to stop and engage. On The Speed of Culture Podcast, Kargo Founder and CEO Harry Kargman breaks down what 23 years of adtech evolution has proven: “The future of advertising is about earning attention through beautiful creative.” Coming from a leader who has navigated mobile, CTV, and now introducing Karlo, an AI-powered media buying platform, it’s a powerful reminder: media placement gets your brand in front of an audience, but exceptional creative is what builds the brand. Is your creative earning the attention it deserves? 🎧 Listen to the full conversation: Apple: https://lnkd.in/gDQ6ChZH Spotify: https://lnkd.in/gigCD4aF #SpeedOfCulture #Kargo #ProductMarketFit #AdTech #AIMarketing
