Israeli attacks in Gaza killed ten Palestinians and wounded an additional 18 people over the past day, the Gaza Health Ministry reported.
Hospitals in the Strip reported that eight of those killed were hit in two airstrikes carried out early Sunday morning against Hamas police checkpoints in Khan Yunis, near a displaced persons camp. Among those killed were four displaced people and four police officers, hospitals said.
According to the hospitals, four of the wounded Palestinians were shot by the IDF in two incidents in the north of the Strip, with one in severe condition.
In a separate incident, a 15-year-old boy was shot dead by the army east of Khan Yunis, near the Israeli-controlled Yellow Line, according to local reports. The boy's father told Al Jazeera that his son had gone to collect an aid package from a UN food distribution point. On his way back, he was killed by artillery fire along Salah al-Din Road, he said.
Instead of returning with the aid, "he returned bleeding and in a shroud," the father said.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, since the October cease-fire deal was signed, 702 people have been killed and 1,913 wounded, and 756 bodies have been recovered from rubble.
The ministry also warned of a critical shortage of fuel and spare parts for generators, which hospitals depend on. According to the ministry, the shortage threatens to halt emergency services at Al-Shifa and Hamad hospitals, as well as efforts to restore healthcare services in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Red Crescent in Gaza reported that 17 patients and 33 escorts were evacuated to Egypt via the Rafah crossing for medical treatment. 26 residents are expected to return to Gaza through the crossing.

According to the Health Ministry, those returning include eight premature infants accompanied by the nursing teams who treated them during their stay outside of Gaza.
