Heather M. Moore esq.

Heather M. Moore, Esq., is a partner of Axelrod & Associates and focuses her practice predominantly on Family Law and Probate Law matters. Heather also serves as a Certified Guardian ad Litem in Family Court and a Certified Mediator in Family Court. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Coastal Carolina University in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude. While at Coastal Carolina University, she was named to the President’s List and served as a member of the Rotaract Club and Vice President and co-founding member of the Students for the Advancement of Management Club.

Heather attended law school at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While in law school, she was elected to the Student Bar Association as a representative for her peers and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta. Heather also interned with the 15th Circuit Public Defender’s Office. She graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in law in 2012.

Heather is an adjunct instructor for Horry Georgetown Technical College, teaching courses on Business Law. She has also participated in local community service projects such as the South Carolina Bar Association’s “Ask-a-Lawyer” Program and the Wills Clinic for Habitat for Humanity. She is also a graduate of the South Carolina Bar Association’s Leadership Academy Class XIV.

She is licensed to practice law in all state courts for the State of South Carolina and Federal District Court for the District of South Caroline. Heather is also an active participant with the Coastal Women’s Law Association and South Carolina Women’s Law Association. Heather is a Barrister with the SC Family Law American Inn of Court. Heather enjoys giving back to her community as a member of the Junior League of the Grand Strand. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling with her boyfriend John, going to the beach with friends, and playing with her dogs, Penelope and Renna.
