Alexander B. Gerred, esq.

Alexander B. Gerred, Esq. is an associate attorney for Axelrod & Associates and focuses his practice on Family Law and Probate matters. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. In 2019, he received his MA in Securities and Intelligence from the University of Akron. While at the University of Akron, he was elected as President of Graduate Student Government and was member of University Council.

Alexander attended law school at Charleston School of Law, in Charleston, SC. While in law school he was a member of the Transactional Law Advocacy Team. Alexander was on the Dean’s List three semesters and graduated with his Juris Doctor Degree of Law in 2022.

Alexander volunteered as a court visitor for the Charleston Probate Court, reviewing cases of the ward and guardian. He does Pro Bono work for the Unionville Tavern regarding historical preservation and restoration. He is also a member of the St. Edward’s Legal Eagles and is an assistant coach of his high school’s mock trial team and helps judge competitions.

Alexander is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina. During his free time, Alexander enjoys playing in a men’s ice hockey league, golfing, fishing, and traveling with his wife and dog.
