Brøchner Hotels, Ottilia Heritage

Segment
Hospitality

Located in the historic Carlsberg City district in Copenhagen, Brøchner Hotels Ottilia Heritage stands as a refined extension of the iconic Hotel Ottilia. The building, once used for storing malted barley for the world-renowned Carlsberg brewery, has been carefully transformed into a unique luxury destination that bridges industrial heritage with modern sophistication.

The property consists of 14 exclusive suites, each designed as an individual masterpiece. A central design element in the project is the custom-made carpet solution, Spectrum, developed by Ege Carpets. The design draws inspiration from the thistle flower — the favorite flower of Ottilia Jacobsen, wife of Carlsberg founder Carl Jacobsen. This botanical reference adds a subtle narrative layer to the interiors, connecting the personal history of the Carlsberg family with the sensory experience of the space.
