We want to provide our clients with a concise overview of what goes into pricing a custom barndominium build. Our TURNKEY pricing structure typically ranges from $225 to $350 per square foot. This is an average, and our pricing does not include well and septic due to the unknown factors of those, such as counties that require engineered septic tanks, etc. There are parts of the country where pricing is increased and part of the country where pricing is decreased. It’s essential to note that this range allows for flexibility, as certain features may not be applicable to your specific needs, ultimately reducing the overall cost. The specifics regarding finishes, appliances, and accessories will be thoroughly discussed with your general contractor once the blueprints are completed.

To get a true, accurate estimate, we recommend purchasing custom plans through us. However, we’re able to get very close to a true estimate prior to that process when you’re talking with a build consultant during your initial consultation. We can scale up or scale down on designs you love based on your budget and what is feasible for you to build. We ask that prospective clients budget for $200 per living (finished) square foot and a range of $200 – $300 plus per square foot. There are materials used that lost longer such as metal siding and metal roofing and oftentimes a barndominium home is built to last longer and more sturdy than a typical home you’d build in a neighborhood. Most of the cost is used with finish materials. Often times Barndominiums have more square footage. More square footage equals more flooring, more drywall, and more of everything else. With the cost of materials so high right now, you should expect to pay more until the economy relaxes a bit. You can certainly save money by finishing the interior yourself if you’d like. Information for costs for barndominium building is all over the internet. We’ve made it simple for you and since we offer in-house financing and design, it’s a pretty streamlined process for us and the buyer.
We ask that prospective clients budget for $250 per living (finished) square foot. If you’re looking for a range for pricing, you can typically expect between $225 – $300 plus per square foot. These are very basic numbers and can vary widely depending on the type of custom home you’re wanting.
