The format dominates Tumblr, AO3 author notes, and fandom Twitter, and it is one of the highest-engagement content types for fan accounts on TikTok and Instagram. This generator produces incorrect quotes from any character names you provide, no fandom database lookup required.

Five formats are supported. OTP (one true pair) is the most common — two named characters in romantic-coded back-and-forth, often involving one being a disaster and the other being long-suffering. Polyship handles three or more characters in romantic ensemble dialogue, common in MCU, Hazbin Hotel, and Star Wars fandoms. Group chat format renders as a fake messaging-app screenshot transcript with timestamps, useful for visual posts. Parent/child or mentor/mentee covers found-family dynamics — Aragorn and the hobbits, Geralt and Ciri, Joel and Ellie. Found family group dialogue covers larger ensembles where everyone has a distinct voice.

The generator uses a few-shot prompted model trained on the rhythm of classic incorrect-quote posts: short setups, sharp punchlines, character voice consistency, and the "Person A vs. Person B" beat structure. You can specify tone — chaotic, soft, angsty, crackfic, or angst-with-comfort — and the generator adjusts both vocabulary and joke structure to match.
