Benjamin Sommer

Benjamin Sommer is a member of our Private Equity, Technology and Cloud Services and Media & Entertainment practices. An expert in software, technology and gaming globally with a particular focus on the UK, Nordics, and broader EMEA, he has worked extensively with both corporate and private equity clients.

Ben has more than a decade of experience with Bain. He has deep expertise in due diligence, vendor due diligence and post-acquisition work, with a particular focus on software and gaming. He has extensive experience in value creation in software companies, with a specific focus on pricing and discounting across diagnostics and practical implementation with leading global software firms in addition to core strategy work.

Prior to joining our team in Copenhagen, he spent five years in our London office.

Ben earned an MBA from INSEAD and a B.A. in Finance and International Business from Regent’s University London.

In his personal time, Ben is an avid football, e-sports and video games fan.
