Jesse Dorris is a freelance journalist with more than ten years’ experience covering the design, architecture, art, and culture industries. His work has appeared in The New Yorker, T—The New York Times Style Magazine, PIN-UP, Metropolis, Dwell, Pitchfork, The Architect’s Newspaper, Aperture, and many other publications. He’s appeared on the BBC World Service and NPR’s Weekend Edition, and on panel discussions for students at Oxford University and as part of the NADA and NYCxDesign fairs. Based in Brooklyn, he’s written about the built environment around the world, including dispatches from Doha, Oaxaca, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, and more. He is also the host of WFMU’s electronic and experimental music radio program Polyglot.
