A pair of 'Coronado' two seat sofas in beautiful cognac leather, designed by Tobia Scarpa and manufactured by the Italian firm, B&B Italia, circa 1975. The seating are made with a then revolutionary kind of molded polyurethane foam for excellent support and comfort. The 'Coronado', was the first ever seating to be built using this new technique: the foam molds were assembled around an iron frame, resulting in a sturdy yet extremely comfortable product. The present pair consists of the two seater sofas offered in their original cognac leather upholstery preserved in excellent condition. With a vise-like grip, the metal structure holds the armchair, with its biodegradable internal padding that, for the first time ever, needs no internal support, intensifying the comfort level of this upholstered chair in the most freeing sense of the word. Wonderful mid-century first production chrome "Foglio" sconces in fabulous conditions. These iconic lamps were designed by Tobia Scarpa and produced by Flos in Italy during the 1960s. 3 pieces available. The Foglio (meaning 'sheet' or 'leaf' in Italian) is composed by a thick curved sheet of chromed steel with a white enameled interior and two lamp holders. They come wires and tested, compatible with both US and EU / UK standards and use two E26/27 light bulbs. The way these lamps spread the light is poetic and incredibly elegant. The perfect lamps to complete a midcentury modern living room.
