Help! when I sign in, this is the message I get. I’m unable to get to the site admin email inbox for instructions, so can’t proceed to edit my site. Can anyone help?

The reason for the error should be visible in the error log. You can find it in your hosting area. If necessary, the support of your hosting can help you.

Alternatively, you could also enable debugging in WordPress. How to do this is described here: https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/debug/debug-wordpress/ – also here the support of your hosting can help you if necessary to edit the file accordingly.

In both cases you should be able to see what the cause is in the logfile.

If I can’t log in, then I can’t access the error log in the hosting area?

I can’t follow the debugging instruction also , if I can’t log in.

Logging into the WordPress backend is completely independent of your host. As far as I can see, your website appears to be hosted by IONOS. Contact their support team or the provider you pay for hosting to resolve the issue.
