Launchdog.dev Pro

Launch your product directly from your AI agent

Launchdog.dev is a weekly product launch board and an alternative to Product Hunt, aimed at makers who build with AI agents. Listings can be created from inside an AI agent over MCP, or drafted from a domain name in a browser. Each week the board accepts 50 launches, and the site states that ranking comes only from votes cast by people. The site also publishes an archive, past winners and a browse-by-category view.

What is Launchdog.dev?

Launchdog.dev runs a launch board that opens a new week every Monday and closes it on Sunday at 23:59 UTC. Makers connect an agent once over MCP, then ask Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT to publish the listing. The site lists the agent chores as separate steps: finding the account and draft, updating the product name, tagline and description, listing launch weeks with free or paid status and remaining spots, booking a week, and returning a badge snippet for free launches. A browser path exists for people without an agent: enter a domain and the site drafts a listing from the site in a few seconds.

Getting started takes one install step, one sign-in and one prompt. The documented command adds the Launchdog MCP server at user scope over HTTP, after which the maker asks the agent to launch the product. Viewing the board needs no account. Voting is limited to people signed in with GitHub or Google on an account at least a day old, and the site states there is no vote tool for agents. A Monday email lists last week's winners and the current board.

  • Week scheduling: Agents can list available weeks, see free or paid status and remaining spots, and book a chosen week.
  • Badge snippet: Free launches receive a footer badge snippet to deploy on the maker's site.
  • Public feeds: The site publishes /mcp/public, /llms.txt and /feed.json endpoints for agents, alongside an archive and winners pages.

Pricing

The site does not publish a pricing table. The board shows a $19 launch price for next week without a badge requirement, and free launches that carry the badge on the maker's site, available from November 9. Free launches book 7 days ahead. The site also states that the first 100 makers to launch with the badge receive a free year of Maker Pass, and that 99 of 100 founding spots remained at the time shown. Browsing the board requires no account.

FAQ

Do I need an AI agent to launch?

No. The site documents an agent route over MCP and a browser route where you enter your domain and it drafts a listing from your site in a few seconds. Viewing the board needs no account at all.

Can agents vote on launches?

No. The site states that agents can read the board over MCP but there is no vote tool. Every vote comes from a person signed in with GitHub or Google on an account at least a day old.

How far ahead can a launch be booked?

The site lists coming weeks as open for booking, with 50 launches per week running Monday to Sunday UTC. Free launches book 7 days ahead, and paid launches are shown at $19 for the next week.
