What kind of game is Where Winds Meet?
Where Winds Meet is an open-world action RPG set in a richly detailed Wuxia world inspired by ancient China. It blends narrative-driven roleplaying, martial arts combat, parkour, exploration, and player freedom.
The game will be available on PC and PlayStation 5.

November 14, 2025 is the official global release date, according to the Release Date Trailer from August 20, 2025.
Is the game open world?
Yes. It features a large open world with dynamic weather, day/night cycles, and seamless transitions between towns, wilderness, and dungeons.
What kind of story does it tell?
The story is set in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of Chinese history. You play as a mysterious wanderer who can shape their own path: hero, assassin, scholar, healer, etc. Choices affect the world and story outcome.
Can I create and customize my character?
Yes. Players can fully customize their character’s appearance, including facial features, hairstyles, and clothing. You also choose your skills and role in the world, from martial artist to doctor or even an innkeeper.

Will progress carry over from the beta?
No. Beta progress will not carry over to the final release.
