Jewish students take refuge in the library and lock themselves in while pro-Palestinian demonstrators pound on the door to gain entry at NYC's liberal Cooper Union college

A group of Jewish students in New York City locked themselves in the library of Cooper Union College to escape a braying pro-Palestine crowd

Chanting: 'Free, free, Palestine,' the mob banged on the door while the scared-looking Jewish students stood nervously inside the library

No one was injured, and the crowd dispersed: the Jewish students left safely and the library reopened after 20 minutes

Game Preview

• Two unbelievable games in the Frozen Four on Thursday have left us the victors. Union's high-flying boys, led by Shayne "Ghost Bear" Gostibehere, outlasted Boston College and Johnny Gaudreau 5-4, while Minnesota, after a prime defensive effort behind goaltender Adam Wilcox, looked to Justin Holl to pull off the stunner on North Dakota with 0.6 seconds remaining in regulation, 2-1. ECAC Hockey conference and regular season champions Union look for their first title in school history after four straight years of tournament appearances, while B1G regular season champions Minnesota seek to return to glory in their third Frozen Four appearance since winning back-to-back titles in 2002 and 2003.

IT'S COLLEGE HOCKEY, ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

When I went to Union there was a little known story about a student who passed away in the 1980s in the attic of Gamma Phi. When I lived in Hickok House you would randomly hear running down the hallway and no one would be there and doors would slam shut. We all always joked about it. Supposedly his name was Brian and all of his belongings were still in the attic because his parents hadn’t picked them up (one of my sisters claimed to have seen it). At my reunion we were all talking about it and I am wondering if anyone knows if this story is true?

Success union is getting a little annoying now, I did pay the "charity" but then looked it up and technically they shouldn't be asking for cash donations. They constantly hoard college green, is it legal what they are doing?

Basically title.

Context:

I am an intnl applicant who applied to Union this year and am curious to know how much you all actually like Union college. What are some aspects about it that stand out? Something you hate?

Personally I really like the Minerva house system, it seems pretty cool.

Thank you for your time :)

I didn't see a game thread, so I figured I'd make one for anyone who wants to discuss the game as it happens. I'll try and update the scoring as it happens.
