Does anyone know what the best gas station is near campus to go to? I need to get gas but I'm not trying to fear for my life😭

My TA is extremely rude, passive aggressive, and unhelpful. He is making me dread having to go to his lab section. I got a 60 on the first lab quiz and got another low grade for the last experiment. Has anyone in this lab ever passed any of these quizzes? They are extremely hard. Any advice welcome

How is the curve in physics lab because so far my TA is making the class quite awful. He doesn’t know how to answer questions related To the lab, he doesn’t do anything to help during lab and his quizzes are just all over. I’ve literally made a 20 on the first quiz and I just Have no hope for this lab section because he is so awful.

I want to become an Ultrasound Technician and have been doing research about different schools and programs and so I was wondering if UOH offers any majors or courses for the career.

Is this normal? And what does note even mean? Can I show her my work schedule because I have never heard of this before

Was anyone else paying attention to the Rice dude at halftime? Found it crazy that he was pitching Rice joining the Big 12 IN A GAME THEY WERE LOSING??? I understand playful trash talk and all but it just sounded so sad.

Fun fact: Rice is the last school from the old Southwest conference that isn’t part of a power 4 conference.

For those who only qualify for TASFA, what's your residency status? I transferred from HHC/UHD and I've always been considered as a Texas Resident. I turned in some documentation, HS transcrips, AND even a letter from UHD in which states I'm a Texas Resident with Resident tuition!! I received an email from UH saying they're considering me as a Resident with International Fees??

Idk but doesn't make sense to me. I'm calling them tmrrw cause ain't no way my tuition went from $6k to $11K. Like I was admitted with Resident tuition!

Anyone had this issue before? Also, have y'all heard anything in regards TASFA? Bruh I've been waiting since April and every time I call or email FA, they tell me the same bs, "give us a couple more weeks."

Also, I'm dropping out (not really, just going back to UHD) if they don't change my residency status. They gmfu. UHD gives more importance to students anyway imo. (just venting lol)

I was looking at myUH today and saw I have a hold due to an unpaid balance. I have a balance of $2800 but I also have pending aid (a loan that I took) that was supposed to come in. Does anyone know when loans are coming in, or does anyone have the same problem as mine?

does anyone have any recommendations for places to have a nice peaceful walk? i’m quite new to the city and i still haven’t found any places. sometimes i walk on campus at night but that’s a bit risky 😭

So to start I have never been to a game so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought I would be able to park in lot e but then I was told I needed to park in the text to pay lot and I paid the fee to avoid any troubles. I didn’t know it was free for people with permits and I’ve already paid would it at all be possible to get a refund or do I just take it as a learning experience.

I’m an alumni and I know a few spots already just looking for some additional kick back bars to add to the list.

I dont have a car but need a job that I can easily go back and forth from campus using the metro
