Software Engineer
LEAD Technologies is seeking to fill a software engineer position to participate in the development of our LEADTOOLS SDK product lines. Software engineers work closely and collaborate with other engineers, as well as the developer support, QA, and documentation teams, to produce software solutions for commercial production.
Responsibilities
- Participate with other developers in preparing designs for software projects.
- Develop and implement software projects.
- Produce fully functional programs and APIs.
- Write clean and testable code.
- Work with graphics and other designers.
- Write documentation, test samples, and example programs for LEAD’s SDK functionality.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in application development.
- Proficient in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Desired Skills
- Proficient in .NET (C#).
- Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages is a big plus.
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js and Webpack.

Account Manager – New Business Development
LEAD is currently seeking to fill an Account Manager - New Business Development position to join our sales team in Charlotte, NC. An ideal candidate will be someone with a strong business mind, technical background, proven sales track record, and keen interest in learning about our technology.
Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with all products offered by our LEADTOOLS business unit including SDKs, cloud services, and related products.
- Procure new clients through direct contact and collaboration with the marketing, developer support, and other sales staff.
- Increase LEAD’s overall sales revenue by attracting new clients through email, phone calls, and follow up procedures for company-generated leads.
- Attend conferences and networking activities to locate new prospects and gain industry knowledge.
- Draft proposals and respond to RFPs and Quote Requests.
- Review clients' feedback and communicate with the development support manager and, if applicable, executive management.
- Draft sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents.
- Collaborate with marketing department to optimize marketing collateral and website navigation.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Developer Support Engineer
LEAD Technologies is seeking to fill a developer support position to work directly with customers using LEADTOOLS SDKs by providing technical support and addressing pre-sales technical issues. This is a great position for entry-level software developers looking to gain practical experience.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email
- Duplicate and report bugs found in the SDKs to the engineering department
- Write sample code for customers to provide a proof of concept based on the customers' objective
- Write demo applications. These applications may be tasks assigned by the engineering department or demos that customers will be able to use to help them better understand how to achieve a specific objective with our SDKs.
- The ability to multi-task and understand complex problems is required. The applicant must also be very motivated, have excellent people skills, be comfortable assisting customers over the phone, and be willing to constantly learn new technologies. Initial training and orientation will be provided. Strong self-motivation and independent execution is expected.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have a computer science/engineering degree or have the equivalent relevant experience. C/C++ and Visual Studio .NET (C# and/or VB.NET) experience for Microsoft Windows-based operating systems is preferred. Prior experience programming with SDKs, HTML5, JavaScript, Android, iOS, macOS, Linux, and/or digital imaging is a plus.
