As President of the First Episcopal District Lay Organization and on behalf of our officers and members, we would like to welcome you as a visitor to our District Webpage. The Lay Organization of the AME Church is commissioned to teach, train and empower its members for lay ministry, and global leadership and service following the tenets of Jesus Christ. Please consider joining us as we share and teach members of our local churches about the purpose, work and ministry of the Lay Organization from an Episcopal District level.
