#FDAHistory On July 15, 1965 President Lyndon Johnson signed into law the Drug Abuse Control Amendments, which gave FDA special controls over depressant, stimulant, hallucinogenic, and counterfeit drugs. The U.S. government controls the manufacture and use of these drugs in the interest of all the people. This 1967 film considers the therapeutic possibilities and other considerations of LSD and other hallucinogens.
