PTP Highlights
Progress of Theoretical Physics (PTP) has published many important articles since its inception in 1946. The twelve papers listed in this page, including articles written by Nobel Laureates, are among the most heavily-cited in history of PTP, and have been greatly influential in the development of physics during the last half century.
Outstanding Paper Award of the Physical Society of Japan
Each year, in recognition of important achievements towards the progress of physics, the Physical Society of Japan selects outstanding papers among original research articles published in the Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, Progress of Theoretical Physics, and Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics.
