October is Archives Month!

  • Monday, Oct. 16, 11:30-1:30, Seattle Municipal Archives - Open house in the archives with exhibits, behind-the-scenes tours at 12:00 and 12:30, and a chance to ask archivists questions about the archives and city history.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 25, 6:00-7:00 pm, Douglass-Truth Library - "Activism in the Archives" presentation featuring City Archivist Anne Frantilla and other speakers. See our flyer for more details.

There are several resources you can use to locate a photograph of your house. The best place to start is the Puget Sound Regional Branch of the State Archives (phone: 425-564-3940).
