NumFOCUS is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to promote sustainable high-level programming languages, open code development, and reproducible scientific research. Continuum Analytics CEO Travis Oliphant was a member of the inaugural NumFOCUS Board of Directors, and Continuum Analytics has been a sponsor of the NumFOCUS community since its founding in 2012.
