What's Happening Now
This might sound crazy, but I always thought I might have some kind of hormonal problem because I'm the only girl with small breasts in a family that has all women with very large breasts on both sides. I had a blood test a year or two ago and it didn't show anything except some little thyroid abnormalities, but the doctor said that wouldn't really effect anything yet.
I really don't know what to do at this point. I just want to be able to use a tampon and I haven't had sex yet but I really don't want to have any problems with that either. Any suggestions or insights would be much appreciated.View Thread

As far as back pains that can be caused from anything. I would ask your doctor or schedule a visit.View Thread
A couple of days ago I started spotting dark brown. It hasn't turned into a period or anything for now, just spotting.
Can you tell me why this is happening? Should I be alarmed?View Thread
I joined after reading some forums here about different lady bits hassle. I'm at my wits end with what's going on with me and I'm feeling very very low.
Basically I've been unwell since June, it started out as a virus, they suspected Glandular Fever (Mono) even though the test has been negative 3 times. At first I was just achy and my tonsils were swollen, flu like symptoms. They tried me on antibiotics, and all that did was give me what they thought was thrush. I'd never had thrush, did the cream and pessary treatment twice. The thing is that since then and all through this my vagina smells bad, not fishy like they keep asking me, but just bad, almost like bloody urine Bo. Lol. I've never smelt like this ever and it's really taking a toll on my emotional and mental well being. I've come to hate my body. I shower everyday, I've never had any odd smells down there. They swabbed me and did a urine test and they say nothing showed up. It's so bad, like I can smell it when I pull my knickers down to pee. Also, and this is even weirder, it's like since all this happened, TMI but coming up, it's like something is swollen inside my vagina, when I tried to push the pessary up I had to push a swollen bit out of the way, it has never felt that way ever. I tried to have a look and it looks like its closed, like there's a pink ball in the way(my cervix?) Again TMI, but I can't get a finger up there comfortably. I had a smear test a month ago and it was normal, the doctor said my cervix looked healthy, and I don't understand how that's possible what with the swollen bit and the smell. They've ruled out stds, and say there's no sign of BV or thrush.
Can anyone help me? I'm getting so depressed about my body. My hair also seems thinner and more lank and my eyelashes seem to have snapped, they're stubby now. My skin is oily, but they say my hormone levels are fine. The only thing that showed was that I need folic acid.
Ladies, can anyone advise?
Thanks.View Thread

Some conditions that can cause missed periods (besides the already mentioned ones of pregnancy, excessive exercise, or rapid weight changes) are an endocrine or metabolic disorder such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) or a thyroid, pituitary, or adrenal disorder. Travel and even diet changes can also have an effect but I wouldn't think it would last this long. If you continue to miss periods, an endocrine workup would be a good idea.View Thread
