William Hoyle

RMP_WH_010-150x150William joined techfortrade as founding Chief Executive in February 2011. Prior to his appointment, he spent 7 years as Chief Executive of Charity Technology Trust (CTT); a UK based social enterprise and charity. Under his leadership CTT has grown to serve over 10,000 UK charities; connecting them with the technology solutions needed to manage their organisations.

William’s previous career includes over 25 years in senior roles in the Financial Services and technology sectors, including payments services and mobile and fixed line services businesses. He is also Chair of trustees of a London Youth Enterprise Charity and a board member of Warsaw based Fundacja TechSoup.

Senait Fassil

senait-3Senait joined techfortrade in April 2013 as a Finance Director.

She is responsible for setting up the finance strategy and monitoring systems for the organisation.  Previously she was Head of Charities for SIDCA Worldwide, a management consulting company, where she was responsible for setting up and leading a wide range of consultancy services, including finance transformation and organisation wide change management programmes. Prior to joining SIDCA Worldwide, Senait’s career spans over 15 years working with various international development charities including CARE International, New Economic Foundation, International Rescue Committee and AMREF.

Lydiah Muya

DSC03098Lydiah joined techfortrade in June 2013 and co-ordinates our field operations in East Africa.

She joined techfortrade with 6 years experience in the microfinance sector, most recently as a senior finance partner in Faulu Kenya Deposit Taking Microfinance ltd with a specialist expertise in credit management. She is passionate about economically empowering local people through innovation and creativity and is a mentor with Kenya Youth Business Trust, providing one on one business management support to a young entrepreneurs.

 

Miriam Kerubo

Miriam Kerubo

Miriam joined the techfortrade team in April 2014 as the TSS assistant in our East Africa office.

She is an experienced social worker and training facilitator with expertise in community development as well as more than three years experience at both management and community level as a coordinator and counselor. She has worked in office administration, procurement and sales business processes and management, and will be techfortrade’s key coordinator for the expanding TSS Trade Transparency initiative.

 Shadrack Limbua

Shadrack LimbuaShadrack joined techfortrade in December 2014 as a Business Analyst in our East Africa office.

He holds a degree in Agricultural Economics and is currently pursuing membership to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He has worked as a business analyst at Cardno emerging Markets (EA) Ltd, involved in financial and data analysis, reporting and business development as well as maintenance of the information systems. He has also undertaken various consulting opportunities related to rural development and agribusiness over the past 3 years. His diversity and technical knowledge in different fields enables him to develop a holistic approach towards sustainable development through innovation.

Katherine Hughes

Katherine joined techfortrade in 2013 as a research intern and is working as Fundraising and Communications officer since May 2014.

She is working on our fundraising strategy and keeping the techfortrade community in the loop with blog posts, social media and news updates. Katherine has worked with previous small charities on a voluntary basis and has a background in customer relations and research with a masters in Middle East and Mediterranean studies from King’s College London.

Matt Rogge

Matt joinMatt Roggeed techfortrade in 2014 and specializes in technology development and implementation.

He has been working with groups in Latin America and East Africa to design and implement low cost filament extruders for the production of 3D printer filament from recycled plastics. He is also developing an automated design process that will be used in the production 3D printers from parts salvaged from electronic waste. Matt has over 6 years of experience as a community development worker and has studied mechanical engineering with a focus in mechatronics.
