I think Legere’s too much in love with Apple to consider this
The fact that you left "in India" out of your statement makes it utterly irrelevant.
Current rumour seems to be no, it will be into next year .
The other thing is it doesn’t appear to be just a shrunk MBA, it has been called something that will revolutionise notebook computing so it may be ARM powered, may run a variant of iOS rather than OSX, who knows?
I would recommend the 13 in AIr. I am on my second and it is without doubt the most versatile computer I have ever had.
AH, OK, I didn’t realise that. That was exactly what I meant.
LG hit profit Q4 last year but have gone into loss again this year
Apple make headlines. Simple.
"Free" services = no support
You clearly have no idea how to use facts to support an argument.
No, it is not what you said and what you have said again.
It has not been judged whether Google is covered by fair use. The Judgement so far is against Google.
Google are only having "defend" themselves because they started the whole patent war by giving away other people’s design as part of Android.
The last point is about anti-competaive behaviour
You are very naive if you think that
Google would have used them to continue to infringe on other people’s patents with the big stick of using them to threaten.
Copyright is not sufficient to protect any form of design. Copyright protects finished products. It is incredibly easy to change software to get around copyright
the patent office is broken and dishes them out far too freel
This is the only problem that requires fixing
The Rockstar patents were bought by a consortium of people who use them and they are entitled to seek licences from others who also use them.
Would you have been complaining if Google had bought them?
Whys should software patents be abolished? They are just another form of design, no different to mechanical, electrical or any other.
Apple and MS are for patent reform because for every big case like this you arear about, there are dozens where trolls are suing them over silly patents.
What they do oppose is the idea that patenstshould be abolished or made worthless.
You mean the SEC filing from 2009?
How about the Samsung ones that were revealed in their case against Apple? Dont you think Moto had the same restrictions?
"The chances of anything going to Mars are a million to one, he said…"
Many more if you bother looking.
No, they sent it back to see if Google is covered under fair use. Asia stands judgements is against a Google.
India is not the World any more than the US is…
They have been found guilty of infringing and they have not stopped using many others MS claim they infringe on.
I am very impressed with Touch ID. It is almost instant on my new iPhone 6.
I think using for things with consequences is best. I have most websites like Verge so it auto logs in.
The next obvious one is selecting user on iPad. I really hope we see this on the new iPads. Might persuade me to buy one.
Hard to tell as Google carefully avoid declaring profits on Android ( to avoid getting sued) but a report a couple of years back( at the time of the first Oracle trial) reckoned each device running Google Android ( as opposed to non Google forks) was worth $7/year to Google and that would rise to $10. So something in the region of $7-10bn?
If MS make $1bn off a Samsung they probably make another $2bn off the other 22 licensees who use Android.
