Gopros are great budget cameras for simple things like this.

The (now outdated) Hero 3 line sounds perfect for your needs and the cameras are very affordable, though the new 4 line is pretty awesome.

Because they’re built well and often times are used in enclosures, I’d feel pretty comfortable buying used provided you do your homework on the seller. That might be a good way to stretch your money even further.

I agree it’s excessive and adds fuel to the poor media coverage surrounding the issue.

There’s already screening happening at the outbound airports. If someone symptomatic/contagious made it through they would likely be spotted over the course of a long international flight.

I’m not sure what the US screening adds beyond the idea of improving the optics of the US government’s response. If someone is asymptomatic and lied during the outbound screening, why would they tell the truth on an inbound one?
