The motorcycle community always likes to see a fellow biker come back after a life threatening accident.

So it was great news when the Hollywood press released previews of an upcoming appearance by Gale Harold in the new television series ‘Hellcats’.

It was during filming of his last major role, ‘Desperate Housewives’ when the 39 year old actor was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital in serious condition following a motorcycle accident.

The actor’s rep told reporters at the time, “We can confirm that Gale Harold was in a motorcycle accident yesterday, Oct 14^th. He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries.”

Those injuries would include swelling of the brain leaving Harold in intensive care until October 23rd.

While Harold may have enjoyed smaller roles and appearances since, ‘Hellcats’ will introduce the actor as a law professor in an ongoing role helping a friend of a friend get out of trouble with authorities. While it may sound familiar, this isn’t meant to be a show about a biker.

For those in the riding community that need a reason to watch a television drama lacking in a serious case of motorcycles, we have two words for you.

Aly Michalka. She is the star of the show and will appear alongside Harold.

Okay some would say she has the lead role in the show, but this story in about a fellow rider.

The young actress may have only been seen in Disney productions and on stage singing until now, she could very well become a familiar face on the big screen. This role finds her have to join the cheerleading squad to stay in college.
