Yesterday, Grasshopper completed its first ever lateral divert test, flying to a 250m altitude with a 100m lateral maneuver before returning to the center of the pad. Aggressive steering maneuvers like this will be an important part of landing the rocket precisely back at the launch site after reentering from space at hypersonic velocity.

Freaking awesome! It is always nice to see a novel and successful application of the ideas behind the control of an inverted 3d pendulum.

7 sleeping areas is not an issue - hotbunking is an old tradition.  At the very least, though, there's likely to have to be some additional equipment added for the increased life support - a small module to add it and some extra sleeping space would not be that big a deal, I would expect.  Perhaps if #Bigelow 's module proves itself fairly rapidly (after all, they HAVE had two of them in orbit now for 6+ years.  Even one of the Genesis modules would be a fair bit of extra pressurized space for the astronauts - a BA-330 is as much pressurized volume as the #Skylab had - and three Skylabs would have been as much volume as the ISS has now.  (Oh, poor #SkylabB , put in storage until someone decided you'd make a nice museum piece...)  However, in an emergency, mounting the seats well enough to ensure they stay in place during re-entry might be a problem.   Still - I would like to see evidence that +NASA is at least thinking about it!

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft.
Introductie

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk to revolutionize space transportation, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary. In 2010, SpaceX became the first commercial company in history to send a spacecraft into orbit and return it safely to Earth. In May 2012, SpaceX again made history when its Dragon spacecraft became the first commercial vehicle to successfully attach to the International Space Station, something previously accomplished only by governments.  In October 2012 and March 2013, Dragon again successfully delivered cargo to and from the space station in its first two official cargo resupply missions for NASA.
