2010 Season Champions.
The Caldwell County Youth Football League
In the fifth- and sixth-grade game, the Hibriten Black Panthers (8-0) completed an undefeated season
with a 27-0 victory over the Hibriten Red Panthers (5-3). In the third- and fourth-grade game, it was the Black Panthers finishing off a perfect season with
a victory over the Red Panthers.
In
the first- and second-grade game, the Black Panthers (5-1-1) beat the South Caldwell Silver Spartans 24-0.

The four major Optimist Clubs in Caldwell County are working together to provide a countywide football league for
the youth of Caldwell County. The county’s three high school coaches are working with the respective
Optimist Clubs to make sure Caldwell County has a top rated youth football program.
The teams
are divided into three age classifications:
1st
and 2nd Grades
3rd and 4th Grades
5th and 6th Grades
All players must play in the school district where they live.
All games are full contact with modified playing rules for Grades 1 through 4.
All games will be played on Saturday at one of the county’s three High School football fields.
Registration
for all interested football players and cheerleaders will start in August Date to be determined. You must bring
a copy of your child’s birth certificate to one of the Optimist Club registration locations on in order to register.
Registration forms can be printed from the Caldwell County Youth Football website www.caldwellcountyyouthfootball.org. Registration will be from 9 am to 12 noon at the following
Optimist Club locations:

Caldwell County Youth Football & Cheerleading Camp Football & cheerleading camp is being offered by The Caldwell County Youth Football League this
summer. If your child will be entering the 1st through 6th grade for the 2009–2010 school years;
he/she is eligible to participate. The football & cheerleading camp will be held
at the Lenoir Optimist Park on July 12th, 13th & 14th from 9 am to 12 noon. The
fee for the camp is $10.00 per child. Football coaches from Hibriten, South Caldwell & West Caldwell will be conducting
the camp & providing instruction to all participants. Football Campers
will be grouped as follows: Rising 1st
& 2nd gradersRising 3rd & 4th gradersRising 5th & 6th graders All interested
cheerleaders in grades K through 8th are invited to attend. Contact the representatives in your area.*Registration will start at 8:30 am on Monday, July 12th at the Lenoir Optimist Clubhouse
(across the road from Mulberry Recreation Center).-Camp will start at 9:00 am each
