  • K-12 Education

By investing in young people, we are serving our audiences and cultivating our future workforce. We believe that every child should have access to quality schools, providing them with the tools needed for success. Furthermore, we recognize the important role that mentoring and after-school programs play in student achievement, and support organizations that provide learning opportunities extending beyond the classroom.

Earlier this year, Paramount launched Kindergarten to Cap & Gown, aimed at assisting students through their entire Elementary, Middle and High School careers. This comprehensive program offers employees an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the life of a student through mentoring, reading, career exploration and other volunteer opportunities.

  • Environment

An Inconvenient Truth inspired audiences around the world to turn greater attention to climate change. At Paramount, being mindful of our impact on the environment is a core business principal and we proudly support organizations that address key issues such as clean air, wildlife protection, and conservation of resources. Green… it’s Paramount to us.

  • HIV/AIDS

Recent figures estimate that 33 million people across the globe are living with HIV/AIDS. For more than two decades, Paramount has devoted significant resources in the fight to eradicate this devastating disease. The company offers financial assistance to organizations that conduct research, raise awareness, promote prevention and testing, and provide support services.

  • Volunteerism
Paramount has a long and proud tradition of volunteering in the communities where we live and work. Our signature event is Viacommunity Day, an annual day of service established in 1995 by parent company, Viacom. This past April, over one thousand Paramount employees in 17 countries around the world volunteered at 50 different sites painting schools, reading with kids, cleaning beaches and serving the homeless, among other community activities.
