For one local collision shop, good business involves more than applying a fresh coat of paint or installing a new bumper. It means earning the respect of their customers by delivering top-notch work, employing skilled people who love what they do, and grooming up-and-coming students to help develop their talents.
Twenty-three area artisans pooled their talent and inspiration to produce an eclectic art show they called “Blue,” on display now at The Historic Dryer House Emporium gallery. The exhibition, open through September 12, features work by the Rochester Artisans, a co-op committed to bringing the artist community together to foster goodwill and great ideas among everyone involved in professional arts and crafts in the greater Rochester area.
Blazing into town with all the fanfare of a Harley Davidson riding club and all the class of a vintage car parade, the Northeast Rail Car Association Excursion rolled into Victor Village recently and gave area railroad buffs something to dream about.
