Published author and East Rochester native Eileen Button says the theme of waiting inspired her to write the collection of personal essays featured in her book “The Waiting Place: Learning to Appreciate Life's Little Delays,” released earlier this year.
Although her own experiences inspired the stories, she says the book is not all about her.
“It encourages readers to open their eyes and see the beauty and humor hiding in their waiting places’ dusty corners,” she said.
