Philadelphia Brewing Co releases a series of Select Brews seasonally

All Select Brews are unique and undergo extended fermentation, lagering or conditioning within our 60 barrel horizontal fermentation tank - known as "the pig" for obvious reasons. Select brews are released as the pig free's up - about once every two or three months. These one-off brews sell out quickly and are normally available on tap at finer beer joints around Philadelphia. Select Brews are released for draught service only.

Our first Select Brew "Fleur de Lehigh" HAS returnED

Fleur de Lehigh is now available in both bottles and on draught. Fleur de Lehigh bottles will be available in specially marked Assortment cases or at the brewery.

Select Brew #5 aka "Shackamaximum"

Select Brew #5 - dubbed "Shackamaximum Stout"; the big brew in the pig is an imperial stout aged on French Oak which will be released on March 7 at our open house grand reopening anniversary party. Launch Philly Beer Week the right way, with this 10% abv behemoth!

Select Brew #4 - AKA "JOE"

Select Brew #4 - aka "joe" is a robust coffee porter. Brewed with 50 pounds of locally roasted fair trade Peruvian coffee; this beer will make you think you are drinking a sweetened espresso.

Select brew #3 - aka "Philly'z Navidad"

Select Brew 3 dubbed "Philly'z Navidad" - a fresh, wet hopped black lager. We harvested four bushels of fresh hops right out of our courtyard garden and packed them into our hop-back. The result? Decide for yourself at finer draught service joints in December, but here's a word for you - X-mass-black-a-licious!

Select Brew #2 - aka "Phila-buster"

Select brew number 2 is a Wheat Wine sure to break up the ramblings of any political drone. This spicy, malty, brew, hides it's 9% abv like any politician hides links to special interest groups.
