The Davidson Branch , serving citizens of Davidson and the surrounding region, is located on The Green in the heart of the downtown area. Library services include children's storytimes, word processing, Internet access, and provision of a wide variety of materials for both reference and home use.
Davidson houses a collection of over 25,000 items, including circulating fiction and nonfiction for all ages, Audiotape Books, audiocassettes, videotapes, large print books, children's CD Roms and basic reference resources.
The book collection and staff provide help in answering basic questions and supporting homework assignments. If a question can't be answered using Davidson's resources, staff will provide assistance in placing holds on needed materials, or refer a question to one of our larger branches.
Davidson Branch's centralized location makes it a popular afternoon destination for school-age children. The branch materials collection contains numerous homework-related items. Four PCs feature homework support products.
Public programming is offered twice a month for yearlings, toddlers and preschoolers. Special programming is offered throughout the year.
