The PT39 projection chipset features individual Red, Green and Blue PT39 devices, each with a 3.9 mm2 emitting area. The small emitting area makes this chipset ideal for use in ultra-portable pocket projectors, with 4:3 microdisplay diagonals ranging from 0.4 to 0.55. Like all PhlatLight projection chipsets, the PT39 can be used with DLP, LCoS and HTPS LCD microdisplays. PT39 devices are also available individually for high performance illumination applications other than microdisplay projection.
The PhlatLight PT39 projection chipset provides the following benefits:
- Wide color gamut that exceeds the NTSC standards
- Instant turn-on
- Mercury-free, RoHS compliant environmentally-friendly technology
- Fast switching properties enable electronic control of color points and light intensity on a frame by frame basis
- Outstanding reliability with median lifetimes greater than consumer products
