Abusing your power and trampling on the time-honored first come, first served traditions of a free society could be a symptom of some mental instability. Or a superiority complex. From what I got is that the police officers didnt bump the line but the security guards allowed them to bump the line or something. so I guess aslong as the cops didnt like use their being an cop to skip the line, instead using an buddy is better. not right but better. But hey who are we to judge the details arent very clear.

The amazing thing is that something similar happened at a store I went to. An officer was turning people away who showed up the morning of the event. He ultimately would up buying the last available console. Jackass.

Unless they are generalizing A$$holes like Hitler or the KKK Grand Wizards or Al Zawahari of Al Qaeda, then there comments should be completely ignored. But we all know CNN and all the other news outlets wouldn't rather give these guys the podium for ratings than people who try to bring us together. Unfortunatly, this is very true. I have also been pulled over for no apparent reason!!! I was driving my 1971 Chevy Chevelle (which I have restored to near perfect condition hehe) and I have seat belts that go just across my waist. The cop pulled me over because he thought I wasn't wearing my seat belt. When he saw I was wearing it, he quickly tryed to find something else wrong to give me a ticket so he didn't look like an idiot!!! I was sooooooo pissed!!! Hell yes SOME cops have authority complex problems, hell yes SOME cops are dicks, but saying ALL of them do is what is not true.

I am sorry you take my comment so personally, but do you want to know something. I have NEVER drank, smoked or done any drugs in my entire life. I give random drunk people rides home so they dont drive drunk(seriously). I give strangers walking in the cold rides home because I care and do you have any idea how many times i have been pulled over? Take a guess.....81 times. NO JOKE thats within 10 years. I've been pulled over because my "car is yellow and its 2:30 in the morning. that just screams trouble, please step out of the vehicle". I have been asked if i have drugs on me over 75% of the time. I've been asked if they can search my car, which no cause, over 75% of the time. I have seen my best friend go from naturing person to becoming a hateful cop along with 95% of the force that he works with(Milwaukee, WI). I have seen him stop going to area of the city because there too many black people. I have seen him and his buddies harrass other black people because they are in a group.




Am I saying that all cops are evil? Of course not. What I am saying is that the system for hiring police is severly backwards. Nobody seems to understand that A LOT(not all) of the people that apply for those positions need to feel the power and be in control.



On top of all of that, you see more and more stories about police officers abusing their power. Again, I am not saying that all police are bad. There is obviously a change happening with the police. Its becoming more of a Police vs. Public and more and more police are abusing their powers.



And for the record, I have gone to police chiefs, superiors, etc and guess where it gets me know. KNOW WHERE. Cops are a family and they protect eachother with their lives, if you think a pathetic complaint of their conduct is going to do any good, im sorry, its not. I used to have a lot of respect for police until they labeled me as a criminal and drunk drug user because i was in a certain age group.



Am I going to stop voicing my opinion? NEVER. Its the only tool, the public has left. I will not sit back and tell people what they want to hear. Is it sad that the good police that are actually there to protect the people are getting wrapped in my generalization? Of course, but thats the price they have to pay for the corrupt cops that abuse their power.



Again, i mean no disrespect for you, but the more people that are aware, the more the "bad" cops know that they are being watched and they have rules to follow just like everyone else. Just because they have the cival authority to break the law, doesnt mean they can whenever they want.

First of all, I wasn't offended because mommy told me to stand up for cops, I was offended because my cousin was killed by an illegal immigrant and then the rest of his illegal family tried to cover it up by reporting the car stolen. Oh and when we tried for the death penalty, a bunch of tree hugging hippies came and protested my familys case. So how you can compare me to tree hugging hippy is beyond recognition. In fact, maybe you should look up the definitions for conservative and liberal before you embarrass yourself some more. Then maybe you would learn that hippies tend to be anti-establishment hence making them liberal. Police are a product of establishment and people who tend to promote more police power are considered conservatives. You calling people who stand up for police hippies shows that you know absolutely nothing about this world and you might want to put down your controller and go back to school because it obvious that you never learned anything. And the fact that you have access to video games and the internet means that you probably aren't too poor which makes me believe your anti police statements are more fueled by 50 cent videos than your actual life. Yes, there are a bad few in every bunch, but that is no reason to hate all of them. We only hear what the bad cops do and never what the excellent cops do. I think it's wonderful. Although I hate cops, and I would like to see them all burn in acid for all eternity, I think it's terribly funny that those morons that waited in line for days lost out. LOL I can't stop laughing. Who can stand in line for days anyway. I guess losers with no job and no responsibilities can. All day on the last day is all that I think is reasonable, but I am always surprised of the sheer number of idiots willing to wait in line for lengthy periods of time. I got a PS3. And I didn't pay extra or wait in line. I am a true gamer but I have a life and I can't wait in line that long even if I wanted to and I think that the fact that all of those people do is the reason the consoles are so difficult to get. GO PIGS!!!

The thing about people is... there are people that are idiots and there are people that are kind and respectful. You can go into any retailer and and deal with a person who is well spoken, understanding and knows how to comunicate. You can also deal with a person that is a total nimrod who does not now how to talk to people and gives horrible cutomer service. The same goes for the Police. There are some good guys and there are some bad guys. The biggest diference is a Gamestop employee won't pull you over beat your ass and say you were resisting arrest...... Gamestop employees will just talk about PC games that noone cares about and then look at you like a freakin nood because you don't play D&D; online...... It'd be nice if the public could pull GS employees over and beat the hell out of them.... I think I'm on to something....
