Airport Pricing Draft Report
The draft report, Review of Price Regulation of Airport Services, has been released.
Regulation Taskforce
The Treasurer has announced the Government's response to the report prepared by the Taskforce on Reducing Regulatory Burdens on Business, chaired by Productivity Commission Chairman Gary Banks. Information about the Taskforce, including a copy of the report and a link to the Government's response, can be found at www.regulationtaskforce.gov.au (external link).
Office of Best Practice Regulation
As part of the Australian Government's new regulatory reform agenda, the Office of Regulation Review - which is part of the Productivity Commission - will have its role and responsibilities enhanced to become the Office of Best Practice Regulation.
