It's a leap year, so those of you born on February 29 can finally celebrate another birthday. February is also the month for romance with Valentine's Day. There truly is no better way to say "I love you" than by reading our concise collection of reviews for the month and picking out a game or two for that special someone in your life. This feature includes reviews covering all the major platforms: PC, Xbox, GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Game Boy Advance. You'll also find our picks for Game of the Month on each platform. Remember, these awards don't automatically go to the highest-scoring game--we debate every game, taking into consideration gameplay, style, features, and other criteria before coming to a conclusion.
February was somewhat of a slow month. Though it may not have matched other months in terms of volume, the past four weeks have seen some true gems on many of the platforms, including a few that will surely contend for year-end awards. A couple of the Game of the Month winners were clear-cut leaders in their categories, but we engaged in some fairly weighty debate on other platforms. Whenever that happens, you can be sure that there will be plenty of games available for you that are very worthy of your time and money.
