I’ve enjoyed many an event at BAFTA’s London HQ – from game showcases and socials, to lectures and panels. I love the celebration, education, inspiration, and motivation they provide. Highlights include escorting the voice of Mr Bond (and Goldfinger!) himself, Timothy Watson, to the release party for 007 Legends; watching the launch trailer of Witcher III in an auditorium of very excited fans and devs with Lead Performance Director Kate Saxon; counting just how many Assassin’s Creed games I’d worked on with Side during Marc-Alexis Côté’s inspiring keynote; and probably best of all, sitting in the front row of the BAFTA nominee’s panel next to Performance Directors Jay Baughan and Mark Healy while nominee Charlotte McBurney not only spoke beautifully about performing in games but also gave them a shout out. We were overwhelmed with pride. I look forward to taking part in many more events as an official member – starting with the Games social in November – see you there? No Force. No prophecy. Just racing. Electric Square had a great time supporting the team at Fuse Games on this exciting project, and we’re proud to have been part of bringing it to life. Congratulations to everyone involved at Fuse Games. It’s brilliant to see the enthusiasm from the Star Wars™ community and we can’t wait to see what comes next! #FuseGames #ElectricSquare #StarWarsGalacticRacer #StarWars

An all-new, action-packed adventure centred around one of Marvel’s most iconic characters. It’s been a fantastic project for our team to be part of. Huge congratulations to everyone at Insomniac Games and across the teams who helped bring Wolverine to life. #WolverinePS5 #PlayStation5 #ElectricSquare #InsomniacGames #Marvel

Jason Green liked thisJason Green liked thisIn 1999, I was just a kid playing Star Wars Episode I: Racer. For over 20 years, I dreamed of a sequel. I used to watch amateur fan projects online and even wondered if I should try building a prototype myself. Then, about a year ago, I heard that an official sequel was actually in production. I practically jumped to the ceiling. But when, in the same conversation, I was offered the chance to officially work on it ! What a day. I spent the following weeks floating on a cloud. I had the immense privilege of doing some Layout and Lighting for Star Wars: Galactic Racer cinematics. The very first cinematic I was asked to work on featured Sebulba’s pod, a completely surreal full-circle moment for me. The game is finally out, it’s absolutely incredible, and I am already spending hours playing it : ) A huge thank you to the amazing teams at Electric Square, Keywords Studios, and Fuse Games. A massive thank you to Matthew Dunford you were the one who brought this project to me and made this lifelong dream a reality. A very special thanks as well to Steve Wilding for his outstanding direction and invaluable feedback, and to Jack Roach for all the absolute magic you do in Unreal Engine. On that note... dududududu..... https://lnkd.in/gaPqv_8s #StarWars #GalacticRacer #GameDev #UnrealEngine #LightingArtist #Cinematics #ElectricSquare #KeywordsStudios #SimRacing

Jason Green liked thisJason Green liked thisStar Wars: Galactic Racer from Fuse Games and Secret Mode takes a roguelite-style structure and applies it to racing. The result plays like Burnout in the Star Wars universe, with risk and reward shaping every decision. It launches October 6 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
