Soben addressed three assessment claims for Sunwater including: assessment of contractual claim and preparation of reports (force majeure), assessment of contractual claims in relation to change (foundations) and assessment of programme and preparation of programme to complete.
Our work involved a thorough examination of the contractual agreements, identifying instances where force majeure events had an impact, and preparing comprehensive reports.
When assessing these claims for Sunwater, Soben’s expert team calculated the effect of events and reviewed contractor claims. We then prepared reports in response to all heads of claim. Soben’s report assessed the impact on the programme, with links to cause and effect, to calculate the remaining programme to complete and provide Sunwater with an accurate forecast of time remaining.
Soben ensured all claims submitted by the contractor were in line with the contract in terms of time and cost. We provided an independent assessment of all claim items and gave our client substantiation for negotiation.
