Shelby County Community Corrections (S4C) is a community-based corrections entity operating pursuant to statutory authority under the Code of Alabama and in coordination with the Alabama Department of Corrections. Our mission is to enhance public safety and support community well being by providing structured, evidence based supervision and rehabilitative services for eligible non violent offenders. We strive to reduce recidivism, restore individual dignity, hold offenders accountable to victims and the community and offer opportunity for positive transformation while maintaining fairness, integrity, and efficient use of public resources.
