Law Enforcement
Information Requests
At Ring, we are committed to being transparent about our privacy and security practices. Ring receives and responds to government demands (i.e., legally valid and binding requests for information from law enforcement agencies such as search warrants, subpoenas and court orders). These agencies are required to follow applicable laws and statutes when requesting user information. If we are legally required to comply, we will provide information responsive to the government demand. Ring’s Law Enforcement Guidelines describe our process for receiving and processing information requests from law enforcement. The following reports provide information about the type and number of government demands processed, and how Ring responded to them.
