Assistance with Security, Harassment, and Phishing
Use the links below to learn how to contact your School PrivSec Officer (SPSO), respond to online harassment, report a phishing email, or submit an IT help ticket.
For non-urgent questions, concerns, or inquiries related to school-specific research and administrative matters, community members are encouraged to contact their SPSO.
Incident Response and Investigation
Monitors University systems, triages incidents and coordinates a response. Assists the community with mitigating the impact when a privacy or security related event is reported.
Secure Computing
Provides a variety of tools to protect passwords and systems, identify vulnerabilities and to monitor for incidents. Assists the community with maintaining secure systems and data.
Consulting and Education
Provides online/in person courses and outreach programs, risk assessments and general consulting. Assists the community with making the best decisions.
Policy and Governance
Publishes and maintains University PrivSec policies and standards. Reviews and recommends remediation when an exception is required. Assists the community with mitigating and tracking risks.
