The current Trials structure, including access, Dominion, the two Passage experiences, Lighthouse progression, and activity rewards.
Trials is available every weekend except when Iron Banner is active.
Eliminate the opposing team or secure the capture zone. Revives are enabled.
Guardian Power does not affect combat effectiveness in Trials.
Trials requires SMS verification plus ownership of The Edge of Fate, Renegades, or Destiny 2: The Collection. A platform online subscription may also be required.

Enter Trials
Visit Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar, choose the Passage that matches your goal, then launch Trials from the Crucible area of the Director / Portal.
Seven Wins → Lighthouse
Earn seven wins to access the Lighthouse regardless of losses. Weekly rewards scale with your longest true win streak.
- Open Skill matchmaking while on a Lighthouse Passage.
- Repeatable Lighthouse chest rewards on completed passages.
- A true 7-win streak unlocks the Flawless Passage and its highest reward tier.
Reward-Oriented Play
A lower-stakes route focused on repeat matches, reputation, activity rewards, and weekly challenges rather than Lighthouse access.
- Wins grant reputation plus chances for Trials gear and engrams.
- Losses still grant reputation and can reward a base Trials weapon.
- Full-fireteam and clan play can add reward/reputation bonuses.
LIGHTHOUSE REWARDSHow win streak rewards work
Each Lighthouse visit can grant repeatable materials, a base Trials weapon, Trials armor, Osirian Ciphers, and chances at Adept rewards. Weekly true-win-streak milestones add additional rewards.

Trials Rewards
The Monument of Triumph Trials reward family: refreshed weapons, Cruel Electrum armor, Lighthouse focus weapons, and collectible cosmetics.
When an ally is defeated, Primary ammo weapons gain handling, reload, target acquisition, and reduced flinch. The bonus increases with multiple allies down or while solo.
Primary-ammo final blows remove you from radar briefly. Drawing a weapon that does not use Primary ammo ends the effect.

When is Trials available?
Friday reset through Tuesday reset, except during Iron Banner weeks.
Does Iron Banner advance the Bonus Focus rotation?
No. An Iron Banner blackout pauses Trials; the Bonus Focus sequence resumes on the next eligible Trials weekend.
How many maps can be featured?
The Monument of Triumph map system can select up to three maps for a Trials weekend.
Is there still one featured weapon every week?
No. Bonus Focus Pools replaced the old single weekly focused weapon model, and the Lighthouse has its own focus pool.
How do I reach the Lighthouse?
Use the Lighthouse Passage and earn seven wins. Losses do not block Lighthouse access, while true win streaks improve the reward path.
Why might an inspector show fewer perk columns?
Weapon details only show perk and trait columns that are available for that item.
Does armor use the same inspector?
Yes. Armor set details include class pieces and set bonuses when that information is available.
What is the Item Inspector?
Tap or click an item icon or name to view more details without leaving the page. Weapons can show stats, perks, and traits, while armor and other rewards show details relevant to that item. Use the pin button to keep it open while browsing, or × to close it.
