In Studio North, independent product designers exhibit their custom and one-off creations (including furniture and lighting, glass and ceramics, textiles and décor objects) within a gallery-like setting.

Prototype is a platform within Studio North, featuring products not currently in production and addressing new ideas for the residential market. Past prototypes have featured both to-market and conceptual works.

The IDS Vancouver team is thrilled to be partnering with their sister event the Artist Project for 2026 with the "Collect presented by Artist Project" feature area of the show.

IDS is pleased to announce the return of ILLUMINATE for the 2026 show. The feature will once again be curated by ThinkL Lighting Studio.
