Starting 22 October 2025, VETASSESS will increase its skills assessment fees for professional and general occupations in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
This fee adjustment also applies to assessments under Designated Area Migration Agreements (DAMA) and Industry Labour Agreements (ILA). However, assessments for trade occupations will not be affected by this change.
The updated fees are as follows:
- Full skills assessment for general and professional occupations: increasing from $1,070 to $1,076.
- Subclass 485 skills assessment: increasing from $832 to $852.
Essential Reminder: Applications submitted before 22 October 2025 will still be charged at the current rates.
This update keeps VETASSESS fees in line with inflation, ensuring migrants continue to receive accurate, high-quality, and reliable skills assessment services.
