What You Can Do With The Visa

This visa lets you visit Australia temporarily to complete a workplace-based training or a professional development training program. The workplace-based training has to for improving skills for your current occupation or an area of tertiary study or field of expertise. You can stay
in Australia for up to 2 years.

Sponsor Documents

You must ensure that your sponsor nominates you to undertake an occupational training, unless they are an Australian Commonwealth
Government agency.

To prove that you have been nominated by an eligible sponsor, you must provide the following:

sponsor approval letter or receipt for sponsorship application submission body if it is required in the state or territory you are planning to work in. If you are a doctor, then you must provide either:

sponsor’s nomination approval letter or receipt for nomination application submission (if not a Commonwealth agency)

written commitment from sponsor to fulfill obligations for you and accompanying family members

If you have spent a total of 12 months or more in Australia, then you must provide an Australian police certificate. If not, then you must provide an overseas police certificate from your home country and any other country where you have spent a total of 12 months or more.

If you have a child under 18 that is dependent on you, then you must provide copies of their birth certificate.

If there is anyone who has the right to decide where the child lives and is not coming to Australia with the child, then they must complete a consent form allowing child to migrate to Australia or provide a statutory declaration stating the same.
