ART APPLICATION
The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) reviews decisions made by Australian Government agencies, departments and ministers.
What can the ART help you with?
If you have received a decision you disagree with, the ART may be able to review your case.
Visas: ART can review some, but not all, visa decisions made by the Department of Home Affairs, the Minister for Home Affairs or the Minister for Immigration.
Centrelink: ART can review Centrelink decisions about your payment, allowance or benefit issues only after an Authorised Review Officer has reviewed the case.
NDIS: ART reviews certain decisions made by the National Disability Insurance Agency under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013
Child Support: ART can review child support decisions after a Child Support Objections Officer has first reviewed them.
Taxation: ART may review decisions made by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). The decision letter usually states whether the ART review is available.
Workers' Compensation and Entitlements: ART can review Commonwealth workers’ compensation, veterans’ entitlements, and military compensation decisions.
Other Areas: ART also reviews some decisions under Norfolk Island laws and by state or non-government bodies.
