The Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 368 and the Landscape Association of Hawaii have agreed to develop and establish the Landscape & Irrigation Laborer Apprenticeship Program (“LILAP”). The term of apprenticeship consists of 4,000 hours of on-the-job learning and 288 hours of related training instruction which the apprentice must complete to become a Landscape and Irrigation journey worker.

Qualifications:
- 17 years of age
- High School Diploma, GED Equivalent or proof of a least 10th grade education
- Pass Pre-Apprentice and contractor (when dispatched) drug testing
- Must successfully complete and pass the Pre-Apprentice Evaluation Course
Note: Email proof of education, valid government-issued picture ID, social security card, and vaccination records (MMR, Varicella, TDap, TB Clearance for Kauai, Maui, and Big Island apprentices only).
Wages and benefits increase as you progress through the program, at each level (Step) your compensation will be as follows:
