I ha e used jira for 1.5 years. It's just amazing tool to manage your project, tasks , support, client tickets and many more. We can manage project board with different tasks.we can create PCR sheet, we can link PR and git history easily.
For bigginer it's little bit time taking tool to adopt it. But once you use to it. It will save your lots of time.
We have managed large scale projects in jira. Almost 150 developer in the same project. easy to manage individual task for each developer. End client communication can be done using this
I like the accessibility of Jira Core. It has been very helpful for me to manage multiple projects and stay updated about each of them.
I think this product is great. However, it took me some time to set my grip on t. Maybe make it more user-friendly in future versions?
Jira s a good way to manage tasks and help everyone in the team stay on the same page. This is effective in terms of saving time and helping everyone track their tasks within an agile environment.
It is a goood product that can be ised across project for task management. It helps in planning, tracking and in reporting aspects.
Jira core is a but slow so adding new features and management is a bit frustrating.
We use it to manage project details. Better task management and reporting.
Very easy user interface, let you raise tickets in different predefined sections. Easy to manage. Can be hosted locally. Very customizable according to usage.
Mobile version of JIRA is not such good as its desktop version. Desktop version is very handy to use.
-> Project Managenent -> Team Management -> Hassle free ticket solving -> Assign tasks to responsible person
Jira Core now known as JIRA Work management is specifically geared towards business teams. not to be confused with JIRA software which is a superset of Jira Core. JIRA core helps the business team stay organized with its intuitive UX and lot of integration to third parties. the best part I have grown to like is the ecosystem and the simplicity. there is no learning curve or tonnes of terminology when using JIRA core. JIRA marketplace gives you tonnes of integrations and apps if the functionality does not exist out of the box. there are integrations with Slack, Microsoft teams, outlook etc. JIRA core has robust search functionality that is both performant and intuitive. No matter if you are team of 2 or 200 JIRA core will help you scale and take the guess work out of work management
Atlassian (company behind JIRA core) can be little slow in prioritizing new features so the innovation and new features are bit delayed. Apart from that the JIRA core can sometimes feel a little slow and there is that small room for improvement in terms of speed and increasing the UX.
Day to day work management, adhoc tasks, meeting schedules, to do items, planners. having all the tasks in one place and able to view them in kanban view or list view has improved our productivity. the integration between slack, teams and outlook means their is less context switching
Jira core in terms of agile software ,it works best as it tracks different stages for dev ops perfectly
Little slow interface and complex one as well
Devops tracking , app tracking ,security reporting
This allows maintaining your work and workflow. save your time that you spend while discussing various requirements. To manage your team and track the work this tool is quite efficient.
Features can be expanded to more level and UI can be improved.
To manage your team and track the work this tool is quite efficient. My team is now able to schedule their work accordingly.
The task distribution and hours tracking reporting is simple and easy
The UI is not very attractive and sometimes its very slow
We are managing our Agile process using Jira
A huge number of possibilities. You can do almost anything
The interface is confusing. Some functions doubled up in different places. Sometimes very difficult to use
Product development management. Conveniently, everything is within one system. It makes life a lot easier
Jira Core a platform that has all the tools to schedule projects successfully one of the key parts when developing a project is to set due dates and assign responsibilities is where Jira Core is one of the best, has a great facility to attach files to the platform and has a large number of predefined templates to track projects in a more efficient way, has a great view of calendar and can be installed on different operating systems
Quite steep learning curve in fact it can be confusing for a user to handle the platform if they are not experienced enough and if we add to this the few training options it has it increases much more the level of difficulty, the interface is a bit clunky it could use a change in design, the cost somewhat limits the number of features available
The use of Jira Core within our organization is very broad we use it to do research, assign resources, schedule tasks, sprint, place deadlines, observe employee performance and make labels, one of the biggest setbacks we had when we were doing projects was the assignment of deadlines reason why in the some occasions we delivered them considerable delays but since using Jira Core the organization and supervision of the tasks has improved as has our customer satisfaction
